Welcome to this blog. My idea is simple.
Gardening in England has a long history. There is a
wealth of knowledge and technical expertise. Imagination and hard graft have
produced a rich landscape of outstanding garden design.
There is also an intense debate about modern
gardening, with emphasis on conservation, sustainability and natural
techniques. The overall theme is the link between human habitation and
landscape.
Gardening in Chile is up and coming with very creative
designers and growing environmental awareness.
My intention is to help bridge these experiences and,
hopefully, assist new Chilean gardeners by providing access to ideas as well as
practical help with common gardening problems.
I will be publishing photographs of my favourite gardens as well as responding to your gardening questions.
